Every morning we get to experience waking up to the sunrise through the window and even spotted hornbills outside, which added to the charm. It's not a typical holiday home and has allowed us to feel a bit of a slower pace of local lifestyle, having local Terengganu foods from nearby stalls, and watching people catching squids at night. The beach is clean and uncrowded, with tame waves and shallow, water is clear, warm and perfect for swimming. Thereās ample space for parking and even camping, plus a functional outdoor kitchen. A nearby cafe called Nyiur that we liked too, offers a relaxed, picnic-style setting which is great for hanging out. Highly recommended if you're looking for an authentic east coast getaway with families or friends. Kerja Wardah17 May 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a great time here with the family last weekend. The scenery, the house, the calmness is splendid! A very comfortable stay, of course. The walk to the beach is near and even got to see locals squid jigging or as they call it "candak sotong". Truly healing! Firhan Ismail16 May 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A beautiful and peaceful beachfront homestay with stunning sea views and direct beach access! The house was super clean, cozy, and perfect for our group to unwind and escape the city. We loved the tranquil kampung setting.. best place for some much-needed āhealingā time by the sea. We explored local food spots too, our top picks were the famous Nyiur Cafe ... just a 3-minute walk from the house!... and Kopi Payung, a short coastal drive away. On other days, we grabbed takeaways like nasi dagang, keropok lekor, kuih, and cakes, and enjoyed them on the porch with homemade kopi and tea. Bliss. Homestay conveniently located about 15 to 30 minutes from Merang Jetty, KT Airport, and Kuala Terengganu town. Tips for future guests: Sunrise beach walks at 6:30am are a must... breathtaking and romantic Enjoy a late afternoon swim Try fishing or ācandat sotongā in the evening. we even made new friends doing this... many other visitors staying in homestays nearby its almost like a small community meetup. Meriah and fun admiring each other catch of the day. We brought insect repellent but didnāt need it Book early for weekends or holidays, itās getting popular. We booked direct, but heard from owner its now also available through Booking.com We truly enjoyed our stay and canāt wait to come back again. If youāre looking for a place for āhealingā, to take a break from the stressful city life, this is the place- the Armani Beach House. This Kampung style beachfront villa facing the vast South China Sea with miles of fine white sand beaches and crystal clear water on your doorstep is the ultimate experience of East Coast serenity. Imagine; I woke up to the sound of the waves lapping on the shore and the sight of the sun rising over the horizon followed by a walk along the beach, stopping by at the fishermenās landing point where the bountiful catch of the night was being brought to shore. For breakfast, the wide selection of quintessential East Coast delicacies within walking distance will definitely not disappoint. There is lots to do in the area; from a nighttime ācandat sotongā expedition, watching the turtles laying their eggs and even going island hopping. I highly recommend this property for the unique experiences as above. Sri Fitrah Vong31 July 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
